Description

It leads from the chapel past the INFO hut and litter meadows to the moss cross, after a short stretch of forest you hike along the 'Moränenhügel' over a slightly ascending meadow path to the Seeleiten vantage point, which offers a magnificent panoramic view of the Seeleitensee lake, the moss and the Salzburg & Bavarian Limestone Alps.After a short distance you enter the moor with its three types of moor and many rare and protected plants, but also the breeding area of the curlew and the habitat of many other bird and animal rarities.

In the Mooshütte (resting place) you can find further information about the "Moos", as well as old peat-cutting tools.

From the viewing plateau you can enjoy a wonderful view into the oldest nature reserve of Upper Austria, the "Pfeifferanger".

Back to Ibm on a road through the low moor area with its magnificent flowers and numerous orchids.
