Description

The nature trail is especially recommended for families and interested groups.

Twelve stations, some of them interactive, bring the visitor closer to the fascination of mining in magnificent natural surroundings.

At the end of the path at the miners' chapel and below the panorama inn Kristberg, the "Silver Play World" is an additional attraction for children.

A variety of play elements make mining here an experience for all the senses and allow children to immerse themselves in the working world of the miners. This Leader project was realized in cooperation with the University of Innsbruck and the community Silbertal as well as the Panoramagasthof Kristberg. The Montafon, but especially the Silbertal and Bartholomäberg valleys, are closely linked to medieval mining.

In order to make the history of mining and its modern scientific research comprehensible, a research trail called the "Silver Path" was established by the Kristberg Railway in cooperation with the University of Innsbruck, the community of Silbertal and the panorama inn Kristberg am Kristberg.
