An absolute Courchevel classic. Steep and wide faces with a visible end point to settle the nerves.

Description

Creux Noirs chair lift is often closed at the start of the day if there is high wind or overnight snowfall, if you read the bulletin board at the tourist office in the morning it usually gives you an estimated opening time.

It is well worth being there when it opens for this line.

For the sake of a short walk/ski you can get 400 vertical metres of steep challenging untouched powder and you can keep dropping in at different points and if you stay to the left of the bowl you can ski back to the chair lift as many times as you want! As you being heading around the ridge line you can view the whole bowl and choose your entry points easily.

Head down the steep entry and enjoy your turns but be aware of the bowl at the bottom and try to keep a little speed for the ski out.

You will finish back on the Creux blue run.
