Description

Join the 'Grand Col' chairlift.

Once at the top follow the piste one the lookers right for about 100metres, then cut off left just before the piste turns a corner.

Keep traversing around until you are stood at the top of an obvious valley, directly in front of you in the distance is the North Face of the Bellcotte.

Look to the right of the valley, this is the east face of Lanchettes, ski down to the bottom of this face and put skins on.

you can choose any line to make your ascent, its fairly easy touring to the ridge line.

The goal is to end up as far to the lookers left of the face as you can, there is an obvious 'peak' and just below this is the starting point.

The easiest way up from the valley floor is to follow the right hand side of the face and then traverse along the ridge line.

there are multiple decenset from this ridge...take your pick, all are around 35% The descent is short but so sweet, and ends in a valley effectionatly know as the 'valley of idiots' her here you can cary on down an obvious walking track which leads you all the way to Nancroix when the snow is good.

The other option is to skin right out of the valley back to the pistes which can be seen to the right, you can see the top of the Transarc Gondola. A fantastic short tour which delivers the goods, you feel like your in the middle of nowhere.
