From the car park in Grünwald (Loipenhaus) turn right into the asphalt road.

After approx.

200 m leave the road and turn right uphill into the path.

Now it goes steadily uphill to the Bärenstein at 1077 m.

The Bohemian Massif was formed about 300 million years ago.

The subsequent weathering process created these unique granite towers, also known as wool sacks, and enjoy the view over the Moldova Reservoir in the Czech Republic.

Now it goes left downhill to your starting point Grünwald.
