Description

A snowshoe hike on the Krippenstein is always a special experience.

Brief description: From the mountain station of the Dachstein Krippenstein cable car, you pass the lodge and then the Margschierf to the Heilbronnerkreuz.

On this route we look over the glacier to the Dachstein summit and far beyond.

After about 1.5 hours we reach the Heilbronnerkreuz.

After a short rest we return to Gjaidalm, which we reach after another 1.5 hours.

This snowshoe hike in the high mountains offers a fantastic view, but should only be undertaken when the weather is really stable and good.

This tour should only be taken with a guide.
