Description
The climb, built by Ramsau mountain guides, was named after the first ascender of the Dachstein south face, Georg ("Irg") Steiner.
The builders under the leadership of Hans Prugger have created a very good climbing facility, in which above all the good "capes" (either a good step or an iron pin) stand out positively.
In spring there are steep firn fields during the ascent and descent.
Crampons are therefore recommended.
