More than 90% of this leg will be done during night time by all riders.

After a challenging start on 2-spoor and farm roads riders will ride into the evening approaching the Lakenvlei forestry area.

This section might become a navigation nightmare if your GPS tracking is not spot on...

Once through the forests, riders will reload at Fort Tower next to Maraiskop before descending into Elandskloof.

The going will be tough to the top of the escarpment and riders will look forward to refuel at Fort Mission before taking on the 2nd leg of the Mission!
