Description

After exiting either the Eigernordwand chair or Kleine Scheidegg-Eigergletscher train, you go straight on before taking a hard left at the sign that will take you over the railway tracks on a bridge.

You then come around to the right which drops away to a long and steep pitch that gives you the opportunity to make some good short turns, or some longer ones if you're brave enough.

At any point it is worth stopping and looking up to your left as it really feels like the Mönch and Jungfraujoch mountains are right on top of you.

The slope flattens out a touch as you descend on the left of the imposing Black Rock that gives the run its name.

There is then another steeper pitch before you bear right around the nose of the Rock and join up with Piste #27 and descend towards the Fallboden/Wixi lift stations on less steep terrain.

This run is often empty but needs good snow conditions as, unlike most of Wengen's runs, the snow lies on top of rocks, not meadows.

Later in the season some good bumps can form on the steeper sections.
