Although it is secured from avalanches and marked with poles, skiroute 13 is rarely groomed and the piste patrol does not cover it.
Skiers who want to do this run, should be able to maintain a parallel steering technique at all times.
Skiing from the top of the Horberg, the 13 seperates from the 10, at the right side.
The first short section is steep, but never narrow.
The slope leads onto a beautiful mountain path over the flanks of the Horberg.
The last section is a heavenly run in a small side valley, which grants you a scenic view over the Tappenalm and it's surrounding mountains.
Finish is at the top of the Tappenalm lift, where ususally many skiers gather.
