Piste 49 starts from the top of the Finkenberg II lift.
The run starts as a steep and broad slope.
It is not only the wavy and curvy shape which make this run an interesting one.
Due to its exposure to the sun and wind, the condition of the snow and even the clouds, can change rapidly from the top to the bottom.
After skiers from piste 52 join in, the piste leads to a junction, where you can choose to ski piste 47 or 48.
To stick with the 49, turn left and head for the bottom station of the Finkenberg II lift.
The last section can be icy, slushy or just heavenly.
Its angles and curves will demand good edging and steering skills, and most of all, strong leg muscles.
