Description

From the huge car park at Pont at 1960m cross the bridge or take the flattish path on the W side, in which case you cross another bridge, slightly further up the valley.

From there continue on the well marked path which rises steeply in the trees.

Above the tree line you pass a small collection of buildings at 2340m called Alpe Chante.

The path above here is slightly less steep but still rises steadily to the hut at 2735m.
