Description

This one is similar to the “Gaislachkar”, but the beginning is on a totally different spot and to get there a short hike is required.

At the level of the lake, the lines come together and become one big off-piste. To get to the hiking point it is essential to follow slope number one around the mountain.

After the first curve to the left, the mountain will be on your left side and a gentle, long right curve will appear.

There you need to get out of your bindings and hike up back on the mountain.

There are some visible mountain ridges, keep going towards them as they guide you to the starting point for the ride down on the other side.

Don´t be scared about the hike, because it is a very short and not a steep one.

No special equipment is needed for the hike but you could take skins if you have a touring set up. Once you reach the ridge, enjoy the view! Gaislacher See should be visible in front of you, like the line you're about to ride.

This off-piste is not as crowded as the “Gaislachkar” off-piste due to the small hike so the snow should be better in the first section of the line.

At the beginning there is a delightful, grand mountain off-piste with some bigger rocks before the two off-pistes meet each other.

The end of this line is the same as the one for “Gaislachkar”.

It is important to go around the mountain on your left side.

Keep in mind that you shouldn't ride too far on the right side and too close to the lake, otherwise you are will end up in the valley where you'll have to look for a bus station to get back.

The aim of this line is to make it to the Gaislachalm T-bar. At some point you will see that it is possible to follow the mountain on the left side.

There are some huge ridges.

If you are not the first one on this off-piste, there will be a track to lead you over them, otherwise cross the first as high as possible.

If you just go between the spines down the mountain, you will probably end up too far on the right side to reach the T-bar.

After crossing the ridges, there will be a big field that is extremely enjoyable to ride! The slopes will be visible at this point.

Keep riding towards them, check the signs and get to the T-bar.

Don't just ride down to the bowl because it's more comfy; doing so might result in a hike or ending up in the valley.
