In summer a lot of cows and some horses can be found on Kaiblingalm.
The family friendly hut next to the slope has the same name and offers fair trade coffee on their terrace with a view and some of the cheapest good meals on the mountain.
You should also try the Zirbenschnaps their, as it's made from the cones of the trees with the long needles which are growing next to the chairlift.
The slope itself is great for beginners, the innkeeper always puts up a small skiing parkour for kids equipped with wooden gnomes just opposite the hut.
There are some groomed variations and a little building where one can ring an ancient bell.
The slope also offers some flat powder variations, which are not endangered by avalanches at all.
The Alm - 6er chairlift is brand new and equipped with heated seats.
