Description

Approaching Snow Park Lodge by road, Big Stick is an obvious, and impossibly steep looking run.

Looking head on makes Big Stick look rather daunting.

From the top of Carpenter Express or Homestake chairlifts, go between Little Stick and Roamer to the first pitch of Big Stick.

The terrain here is wide, rolling and moderate.

Big stick flattens past the first junction with Little Stick.

After the trail turns left, one can see Snow Park Lodge below.

Skiers uncomfortable with the terrain they just skied, should stay right onto Little Stick.

Strong intermediate skiers who can control their speed on all blue terrain, now have the option of taking Lower Big Stick's direct and proud fall line toward Snow Park Lodge below.
