The primary use of Gilt Edge is to avoid the bottom of Birdseye which is a challenging and often busy section of the blue run.
Gilt Edge is short, narrow, but low angle.
Start by hugging the left side of Birdseye as you approach the race course.
When Birdseye gets steep, go left of the lift line.
After a couple hundred yards, the run joins with Homeward Bound.
