Description

Empire Bowl is the ungroomed terrain under the top of Empire Express.

It is difficult black terrain with no easy escape once in it.

Skiers should be comfortable with advanced to expert level terrain with potentially deep snow, or moguls.

Visibility on a cloudy or foggy day is typically unpleasantly low as there are no trees until the bottom of the bowl.

With a deep layer of fresh snow, and a position in the front of the feeding frenzy, Empire Bowl has excellent terrain for fantastic deep powder turns.

In skied off conditions, the moguls here tend to be big and round, excellent for confident bump skiers.

On clear days, all your turns can be seen from Empire Express.
