Description

The most beautiful hike I have made in my life in the Hindukush Mountains.

I was searching for an opportunity to enter Pakistan from Afghanistan in November of 2019.

I had absolutely no information about the border crossing opportunities amongst the Torkham Border.

I was around Ishkashim, when I tried to figure out an alternate for Torkham as Torkham seemed too dangerous to approach ( due to Taliban occupied areas).

So I asked the locals about some alternates.

Some of them answered I should pass through the Broghil, because that is also used by the locals.

So I have decided to go through that pass.

Please don't go too much further than the border and make it a round trip if you don't want to end up in a prison like me.

Okay, the Afghan side is pretty more relaxed, you can go as deep as Sarhad, probably you won't be prosecuted as there are no rangers.

There are rangers on the Pakistan side, so be careful and don't descend until the village.

There are several river crossings on the Afghan side, be careful and try to follow the lane I drew.

Otherwise the flow drifts you away! There is no network here at all, you will be only able to use a satellite phone.

Neither you will have heli rescue.
