Description

North American is a long and wild tree run that is completely isolated.

When you’re in it, you can’t see anything but the trees.

The run has steep pitches, flattops, and gullies, followed by more steep pitches and tight tree lines.

You’ll get it all as you descend- seemingly for hours.

Keep aware of your position relative to the rope lines.

It’s possible to ski in the wrong direction.

To get to North American, take the 50-yard uphill hike to the left at the top of Lift 1.

It’s well marked.

At the end, North American spills onto the return trail near the top of Pioneer Glade.

Epic with a foot of fresh powder.

Ski with a partner.
