The pistes in the Monte Rosa all have rather continental and adventurous sounding names, but do not be alarmed.
Del Bosco is as simple as red runs come.
When you Board the old and massively out of date Champoluc Crest Mini Gondola you feel like you have gone back in time.
The route in very scenic indeed but the cable car itself is a real squash for 3/4 fully grown adults! However when you exit and hit your feet down on snow you see C1 or Del Bosco on your right.
This treelined run is simple to follow with just one private turn off near the bottom into a chalet, other than that, it winds merrily down the cable car route until it arrives you at Champoluc base camp! For beginners or intermediates its a great run to build your confidence.
It is a cruiser in parts and with just one steep section last around 100m this run shoud inspire and not scare.
It it well pisted usually, as is the rest of the Monte Rosa.
The only advice that should be remembered is that any months outside January, this run can get cut up and a little choppy by afternoon as its the only route back into town.
