Description

Although marked as a red, this run can be tackled by confident blue run skiers as the main steep pitch can be avoided.

It is always groomed well, has excellent snowmaking and is wide enough to really allow you to crank out some big turns - especially first thing in the morning when it is usually very empty.

From the top of the Muttleren/Kandahar chairs, bear right over a flat section of ground which overlooks the stunning Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau mountains.

The run now steepens and widens into an open "motorway" section of piste, which usually has excellent snow and a series of rollers to test your skills on.

A steep and narrow section awaits, which can get icy and bumpy towards the end of the day - but this can be avoided by staying to skier's left and heading along a cat track.

Following this there are two options to choose from, with the left-hand section generally keeping hold of better snow (the right-hand option can get icy and cut up).

The final pitch is quite steep, but less confident skiers can stick to the right-hand side for a slightly lower gradient.

Watch out if the weather is warm and sunny as this final section can get slushy and cut up.
