Description

After exiting the Eigernordwand chairlift hang a right at the sign.

This takes you down a quite narrow path which opens up into a massive snowfield that gives you a variety of options for descending towards the railway line.

By bearing to the right you will access a consistently red run steep piste and, due to its north facing aspect, it can hold fantastic snow conditions.

This is backed up by snowmaking the whole way down the run.

The upper section is however sometimes used by race teams, and therefore some sections can be limited in width, but there are generally enough ways to descend and enjoy the high speed cruising.

The run flattens out and you take in a narrow tunnel under the railway line; caution is advised as this can get congested.

Following this the run opens up again and enters more alpine meadow, with good off piste options available if you traverse to the right just after the tunnel.

The lower section can become busy and subsequently icy due to the high usage of the runs in this area, but it is an excellent run down to the Honegg/Arven/Eigernordwand lift stations.

It is well worth doing a few laps of this run as it has some of the best snow in the resort.
