Description

An excellent run that is overlooked by many visitors to Wengen, and hence maintains some great snow conditions.

Some of the steeper sections almost warrant a black classification so this is only recommended for confident intermediates and upwards. Tackle the first section of the Honegg piste, but be sure to stick to the left-hand side to ensure that you don't miss the turn off to the Barhaag piste.

Once you've taken that left off the main run, a steep and shady slope awaits you; this usually holds excellent snow and is a great place to find fresh corduroy.

This takes you down towards the Gummi chairlift top station where the run breaks off towards the left.

From here you wind down via several steeper sections that bring you towards the treeline.

Be careful here to ensure that you don't pick up too much speed down the steeper sections as there are some fairly tight corners - also, if you're heading off piste, try not to deviate too far from the piste as you will enter a wildlife protected area.

As the trees thicken the Tschuggen T-Bar approaches and, if you're heading towards it, be careful not to miss the turning to the left as you'll end up on the long route all the way down to Grund!
