Description

For beginners this is a great option as it avoids the steep sections and faster skiers on the main Männlichen red (piste 3).

From the top of the Männlichen chair/cable car, bear right and traverse the relatively steep slope that the red run cuts down on a narrow cat track.

After a hairpin bend you cross over the red piste once again and head underneath the Männlichen chair on a wide and gently undulating slope.

As the run swings round to the right to follow the track of the chairlift, it opens out and widens into a slope that's perfect for learning.

You follow this section for several hundred metres before a right-hand turn brings you back down towards the Männlichen chairlift queue.

It is best to hit this run either first thing in the morning or during the afternoon so that you avoid the ski school groups who can block up the piste between 9.30 and 11.30.
