Description

This long round hike is a great tour to do if you want to see as much of the Polish Tatra national parkas you can in one day.

Its start is the entry to the national park, where you can get by public transport or own car.

You start off on an asphalt road that you can leave to visit the Roztoka hut and later by shortcutting through the wood path.

The hike includes a walk around Morskie Oko - the most visited place in the Polish Tatras and a look at the highest Polish mountain - Rysy - from the lake at its foot.

Then it brings you above the two lakes through a very convenient footpath to Szpiglasowy Wierch, from where you are taken down on a moderately difficult secured section of chains down to the 5 Polish Lakes valley and to its mountain hut.

From there you descend into the wild Roztoka valley, where you follow the stream until you meet with the asphalt road at the Mickiewicz cascade and finish the loop at the Palenica parking lot
