A mid-steep, wide swath of trees

Getting tired of Gunbarrel's never-ending bumps? Take a lap or two through the East Bowl Woods to give your legs a break; to get here, just drop down The Face after exiting the Tram or the Gunbarrel chair and head all the way to skier's right.

The trees are widely spaced and block the sun from roasting the snow, so you can sometimes find good snow in here days after a big dump.

However, like many of the runs that empty into the California base, the lower altitude means that the snow may be wetter and slushier unless the weather is cold.

Close out the run by either cutting back to skier's left (onto Ski the Wild Side) or dropping all the way down onto World Cup.
