Wallowa Lake often receives winds out of the North/Northwest, which opens up the opportunity for a downwind point-to-point paddle on the lake.

Be sure to check the wind directions and intensity before setting out for a point-to-point and be sure to plan out your shuttle, but if the conditions align, it can be magical!
