Description

The Rettilineo couloir is the most popular entrance to the Balma valley, despite the first section reaching 45° and often being peppered with rocks.

It is a great challenge however, and a fun variant to the Balma classic. From the top station of the Passo Salati Funifor, take the lift from Pianalunga and ski on the ridge for about 50m to the top of the couloir.

Ski straight down in the middle of the slope to eventually join the Balma itinerary.

Follow it to the Alagna valley.
