Description

This itinerary goes down far left from the Canale dell'Aquila following wide slopes immediately to the right of the Stolemberg.

It begins at the entrance of a little gully just below the pylon of the Punta Indren Funifor which is usually icy and requires concentration to negotiate.

The second section encompasses fantastic wide slopes, perfect for long freeride turns. From the top station at Punta Indren traverse right (east) and ski down the slope in the direction towards the pylon of the Funifor.

The little couloir sits just to the left of it.

After the couloir traverse left (under the Stolemberg) and enjoy the descent.

Keep traversing left over a wide ridge to arrive on the top of a long slope (beware of avalanches in case of big snowfall).

At the bottom you will reach the flat area below the Oreste Hutte, near the little dam.

From here follow the Canale dell'Aquila itinerary until you reach the piste.
