Description

Zig Zag is one of the old school trails in the MERA trail system, zig zagging dramatically up or down the hillside.

These tight switchbacks are quite climbable, although a bit challenging on the uphill.

When pointed downhill, the switchbacks are too tight to make for an enjoyable ride, leading most people to drop into the steep fall line Rough Riders trail.
