Description

Hike up the ridge past the Chair 15 Poma lift and the steepest and longest pitch will be at the boundary sign.

The steepest part of the run is at the beginning and usually entails a minor cornice drop in followed by a consistent north facing pitch with a few small cliffs and rock outcroppings but nothing too massive.

The slope will mellow and turn into tree skiing as you progress downhill into Fawn Ridge.

On the top of this line, you will find some of the best views at Kirkwood.

Views of Round Top Peak off Carson Pass, Caples Lake, Peak 9795 and views of Mt.

Reba and Bear Valley Ski Area to the southwest.
