Description

Ths route is a fun and playful descent but more advanced freeriders may find it too safe, for those still finding their freeride thighs, you have an element of comfort being so close to the piste, in fact just a stones through away but have the chance to experiment with speed, and on some of the natural and man-made features.

The natural features being some small rocks to jump and the man made being the steep side ridges of the piste which are ideal for take offs.

Using the side of the piste of red 9 to jump off the piste ridges, then onto the path less travelled on the off piste path that is next to it.

Simply take couis 1 up to the top and get off to the skiers left.

You will see the entrance to red 9 and the travellator up to black 27.

However running almost directly underneath the chairlift, you have the playground of lumps and bumps and no crowds.

It's simple to navigate, not leaving many an opportunity to go wrong, as you will ski virtually down, keeping the narrow red run 9 on your skiers right.

But by simply sticking under the couis 1 chair lift you can make use of the space.

The run goes on for plenty fo time to find your rhythm.

If you are in a mixed ability group, you can let the less confident take the piste while the more adventurous of the group tear up this route.

It can be a little sharky, but generally, the snow cover is consistent and many of the sharks double as good kickers.
