This wide blue run is great for challenging beginner skiers / boarders (consistent pitch, good width, and great light) and intermediate to advanced skiers looking to warm up (easy to make big and fast carving turns).
The lake sits directly in front of you, and gets bigger and bigger as you descend.
You start off running directly parallel to skier's right of the Canyon Express lift before gradually veering to the right.
For a challenge, dip into the trees along the right side of the run for some glade skiing, or look for signs to the left (approximately 3/4ths of the way down) for Double Down, a moderately-challenging mogul run.
As you approach the bottom, slow down a bit, as you'll merge left onto the California Trail, which can be crowded.
