Description

Campsite along the track include North Era, Kingfisher pools and Uloola Falls.

All these campsites require booking through the New South Wales National Parks and Wildlife services.

This hike finishes on private land so a suggestion will be to complete the hike on the Winifred Falls track as it intersects Warumbul Road.

There is no public transport at the finish so some car logistics need to be thought through.

The start of the hike can be accessed via a train to Helensburgh train station.

As you are traversing the route your pull out points are Waterfall train station during the second day and Heathcote station on the third day.

Long steep hills and open exposed trails punctuated your first day as you make your way to North Era campsite.

The second day is long at 22kms+ as you tackle Garie hill and make your way out of the Royal National Park towards Waterfall Station.

On your third day, you will walk some tight single track that contours enough to put significant strain on your now already tired legs.

Finally, your ridgeline hike from Uloola Falls to Audley provides you with exceptional views back to towards the coast as you finish your hike.

The moments that stand out as you complete this route will be the camping at North Era, the cliffs surrounding Garie Beach, the majesty of the both Uloola Falls and Karloo Pools and finally enjoying a well-earned coffee at Audley Cafe.
