The lower bowl on the Front Face on Mt Whitehorn

The bowl tends to hold good snow for long periods of time and is the natural extension of Middle Limits.

There can be some bumps and small features, but largely this is an open bowl for you to explore.

First you will have to find the Platter! Take the Glacier Express to the Top of the World Express and head hard right on to Sunset Terrace and into the bumps of Charlie's Choice.

Follow the Poma line until you find the entrance.

This is a button style Poma that can be difficult in bad conditions, but is effectively keeps beginners out of this mostly extreme area. Descend over the front into Middle Limits, that is steeper, once the run undulates and opens up a bit more you are in the Bowl.

The powder here is often champagne and soft.

Faceshots galore can be had here on a fresh day.

Explore the area which naturally drains out to Charlies Choice where you can choose another lap up the Summit Platter or descend via Wiwaxy to the village.

This one is a leg burner, a long run with incredible views.
