Description

Secret Bowl is visible from the Glacier Express Chair on the right, and can be access 2 ways; either by a traverse to the right from the top of the Glacier Express chair, or from the top of 7th Heaven Express Chair.

The latter way, via 7th Heaven, will give full access to Secret Bowl and Secret Chute area. To find the area, head off the backside of 7th Heaven, following the Blue Line down.

You will see an area roped off and marked ‘black or difficult terrain only beyond this point’.

Traversing past this, you will see some tall metal poles.

Staying to the right of these will lead you to Secret Bowl.

Once at the top of the bowl, the skiiers right of this area contains a lot of cliffs and chutes, where you can pick anything from mellow black, to mandatory airs.

If going for the gnarlier option, it’s definitely worth scouting your line from below and from Glacier Chair first. While Secret Bowl does not house infamous lines such as the Saudan Couloir/Couloir Extreme, this bowl still offers a ton of fun chutes and couloirs, all leading back to Blue Line and the base of the Glacier Express chairlift.
