Steep chute named after large tree growing through middle of the lower section.

Skiing along the top of the northern ridge of the Currie Bowl this is the last run that exits into the top of the Lizard Bowl.

Try to stay in a well defined ski track along the top of the ridge or you may have to hike up to the entrance of the run.

Similar to the other chute and saddles in this area the run is incredibly steep at the top and can become fairly icy.

About midway down right after the run's pitch begins to mellow and the chute opens up a large Fir sits by itself slightly to the left of the exit of the chute section of the run.

Watch out for the tree when exiting and enjoy the deep snow that will have you waning to return to this section of the Lizard Bowl again and again!
