Description

Representing every type of piste and snow condition, this certainly provides an interesting challenge.

Though most upper intermediates could get down, it varies wildly in difficulty because it is occasionally pisted, and therefore can be deceptively easy at times, but can also be extremely tricky in poor conditions.

The best time of day for this run is around lunchtime, to give it enough time to soften, but not enough time to melt completely at the bottom.

The average time it takes to ski would be 15 to 30 minutes for an upper intermediate skier with a reasonable level of fitness.

The Weissringe route down into Zug starts off steep and narrow, then goes sharply uphill.

Next you will get a few nice turns in before meeting with a mogul field, some sharp turns and a long flat.

The moguls do not stop until you are nearly all the way down to Zug, but can be small and manageable, or huge and icy depending on the time of year and how recently the slope has been groomed.

Do not take nervous skiers on this run, as there is not even a cafè to bribe them with at the end.
