Description

Take the Rochassons chairlift from Plaine Dranse, or the Chaux Fleurie chairlift from Lindarets, to reach the northwest ridge of the Chésery.

Climb up the ridge to reach the summit at 2,251m (320m vertical climb).

From here you can enjoy an awesome descent on the relatively steep northwest face.

There are avalanche canons on this face so be sure to choose a day when conditions are right.

If you stay high on the skier's left you can enjoy a variety of lines down the face, however this section is prone to wind slab, so make sure you are well aware of the conditions over the last few weeks.

You can easily join back onto the slopes leading down into Plaine Dranse.
