Description

Windows #1 is a steep chute going through the north side "E Chair" trees.

This chute is challenging and fun to the expert skier, as it starts narrow and opens up after 100 meters or so.

Take the chute straight down the fall line, and the north facing aspect has a good tendency to maintain soft, reliable snow.

When exiting the chute into the run out, be mindful of the river that flows down the valley.

Stay right and there will be a way across the river right back to the bottom of chair E.

This lap is quick and fun, and provides a great challenge to even an expert skier.

Early season this run will have variable snow conditions with obstacles.

By mid February, this run typically has a reliable, soft snow pack.
