The route on the map shows the proper traverse to get back to Imperial Chair from Lake Chutes, this is one option if you decide to lap the Lake Chutes terrain.
Most people do not know that you can traverse over to the Imperial Chair without having to go all the way down to the 6 chair.
Another option is to take Double Barrel down to the 6 chair.
