Stein Eriksen was a legendary skiing pioneer, racer and master of the "Summersault on skis." He lived in Park City and skied at Deer Valley later in his life, before passing away in December of 2015 at the age of 88.
Stein's Way is a steep, often groomed series of steep pitches.
The middle section from the top of the Mayflower lift is the steepest at around 35 degrees.
Near the bottom, skiers have to option of skiing down Star to get to the Mayflower lift, or staying left to get to Sultan Express.
Prospective skiers should be comfortable on all steep groomed runs.
