Description

This bike tour starts in the town of Ronco and takes you up Corona dei Pinci and down to Arcegno. Note - You can drive up to the car park at the end of the road above Ronco to save a few hundred metres of climb but you'll either need someone to take you up or you'll have to cycle back up the road from Arcegno to get it! The 600m of road ascent is steep but mostly shaded and consistent.

Watch out for cars as the roads are narrow with many blind corners.

You will eventually pass through a car park and gate before finishing the last 200m of climb.

There is a short downhill trail before the short final climb to Corona dei Pinci.

From there it is all downhill! The trails start as fun and flowy single track through the trees.

It can often be hard to stay on track because of fallen leaves and branches.

Be aware - the final descent is difficult.

It is a steep rocky trail with many switchbacks.
