Description

If you’re ready to step up your game from the Swinger trail, head to Dwight’s next.

This descent throws a few more obstacles at the rider, such as small rock sections, small roots, a few slightly steeper grades, and some more banked turns. While this trail is undoubtedly more difficult than Swinger, it still only ranks as an easy intermediate trail in the grand scheme of things.

Disregard the supposed “black diamond” rating assigned by the bike park—all of the trails in the Breckenridge Bike Park are dramatically over-rated on the official trail map. If you have any experience at all riding a mountain bike, you’ll appreciate Dwight’s much more than Swinger, Pioneer, or Whirl.

The grade of the singletrack on Dwight’s allows you to maintain your downhill momentum much more readily, providing a faster and more entertaining romp down the mountainside.

One of the most interesting features on this trail is a wide wooden bridge that runs over a marshy area below a chairlift.

While the bridge is wide and non-technical, it’s a cool feature on an otherwise bland mountainside.
