Description

West Ridge is accessed through a high traverse in Whistler bowl, which will take you to the ridge line that separates West Bowl on skier's left and Whistler Bowl on skier's right.

Continuing to traverse along the ridge will give you access to Frog's Hollow.

There are cliffs on either side of the ridge so make sure to be alert when traversing.

This area gives you access to steep, rocky chutes on the Whistler Bowl side and excellent tree-skiing on the West Bowl side.

If you're looking to skip the tree skiing on the West Bowl side, take the left at the start of the ridge to access the less intimidating portion of West Bowl before reaching Highway 86.
