Description

The Couloir is the the line located skier's right of the Cirque.

Both lines can be accessed via the Peak Chair, taking a left at the top and following Matthew's Traverse until you see the signed entrances on your left hand side.

This line involves negotiating an extremely steep and tight drop in and upper section as it funnels into the rocks, maintaining an extremely steep slope gradient the entire way through.

After the tight chute between the rocks, this line opens up into the heart of the bowl.

If it hasn't snowed recently, expect the moguls here to grow to a very large size and also be extremely hard-packed.

This is a classic line that will be enjoyed by any skier that enjoys challenging steep skiing.
