Description

Burnt Stew is a classic Whistler trail, and one of the only beginner runs you will be able to find up in the Whistler alpine.

Starting from the top of the Harmony Express, continue straight until you come to a sign for the Symphony Express zone, which will show if the chair is operating or not and continue through.

Regardless, this run links back to the base of the Harmony Express so Symphony's operating status sn't overly important to the status of this run.

In fact, the Burnt Stew Trail is the way out and back to Harmony from the Symphony zone.

These two reasons result in it being busy at all times of day.

This is mainly a road that weaves through the Symphony area before heading back over to Harmony.

Signage to access the Burnt Stew trail from Symphony is well-marked.

There are various flat cat track sections and these will likely be very crowded, so try to maintain your speed as best as possible as the middle portion from Symphony back to Harmony is largely flat.

However, this is a good way to take in the sights and get a feel for the area on more beginner-friendly terrain.
