Description

Take the furthest variant skiers' right of the Tour de Charvet initial descent, staying as high as you can (this will basically just feel like a long traverse) until you reach the bottom of the valley.

Alternatively ski the initial descent closer to the fall line and accept a longer climb on your skins.

Either way, once your skins are on, climb the gentle valley, following the route gently up to your left.

After an hour or so of easy climbing you'll reach the saddle that separates Mont Roup to your left with the lower slopes of the Sana to your right.

Take of your skins and start a long and mellow descent into the wide valley of the Pisset stream.

Follow the left bank of the stream down before meeting the track back to the bottom of the Manchet chair.
