FATMAP difficulty grade
Ride Summit Lift to the top! Go right after you get off the chair and enter Honeycomb Canyon on the left through the gates.
You will see a high traverse and a lower traverse starting from the top.
Take the lower traverse to ski Prince of Wales (Honeycomb).
Traverse across the bowl, you will ski through a few trees, make sure you do not go lower than the traverse you are on.
Once you get closer to the bigger rock cliffs, keep following the traverse until you reach the wall of the mountain.
Next you will ski down slightly to the big rocks and you will enter a small opening of a gate after a big "woop." You will notice the woop while skiing or snowboarding down or might have to ski around someone that just double ejected out of their skis.
Once you make it up the big woop, side-step up the ridge (this is the hardest part of the climb).
Once you reach the top of the traverse you will start traversing across the mountain again, through a few trees and hopefully not too many rocks.
Now, you will enter one more gate and then the run will start to open up and you will see lots of different lines you can take.
This run is usually bombed by ski patrol to create a natural avalanche slide, therefore, there might be some debris in the run.
Try to avoid the avalanche debris, ski either left or right of the debris.
Once you reach the bottom of the pitch you will take the main run down to Honeycomb Return Lift.
I am usually so stoked about all the new snow I usually do it one more time.
