Description

This is the kind of run that makes you feel you are venturing into the unknown while having the security of the piste and the populated area just 100 metres away.

The run isn't so long but it's fun and there is an optional small cliff to jump, which is always a bonus! However this isn't the time to experiment with your own track as this run also strays rather close to an absolute NO GO ZONE.

However if you stick to the route, you will be laughing all the way to aprés ski.

Once you are staring down run 21 head immediately left.

Slip under the marked barrier and prepare yourself for a small sketchy shuffle - the kind of shuffle where most boarders take to their backside.

There is a small opening in the rocks of approx 3 metres; it's a little rocky but you have to go over it to get to the open expanse which isn't very steep.

After a shuffle and avoidance of the rocks for around 15-20 metres down you'll see a nice big open field.

Head down due north for a couple of hundred meters.

You will see, bang in the middle, a little cliff.

About 5 metres, it looks like it lands in a basin but if you go in with a little speed you should be able to ride right out.

After that little jump start bearing skiers' right.

Continue down for another few hundred meters adjacent with the piste.

You will approach a fence and some tree cover to your right.

Head to the trees and there will be an opening in the fence.

Take it.

You must exit here and it will land you on the famous run 19 "Comba Moretta" approaching the bottom of the chair.

If you bear left at any point on this run after the cliff point you will slowly drift into danger zone of trees and cliffs so at the end, be careful, stick to the right where you can see the fence! This area can get fairly cut up as it's a reasonably accessible run so get in there early.
